It’s that time of year again folks. I’ve been getting the reminder e-mails letting me know that The Ministry of Dice bills are coming due and we’re asking for a little help meet those costs.
We LOVE doing this. It’s so much fun to make content for a game that we are so passion about for such a great community. It does get a little expensive though, and while we are more than happy to foot the bills it’s nice to get a helping hand now & again.
We use donations for a couple of things through any given year. First – it helps us cover the hosting fees we pay to our website host and our podcast host. These are not bank-breakers, but are enough that a couple of financially disorganised idiots like us find can be a big outlay all at once for a couple of family guys.
Secondly – it helps us out with other little additional costs that crop up here & there. Extra cloud storage space for audio files, app & software fees, little one off charges for plug ins etc.
In addition; any funds we raise over & above the annual subscriptions fees are used for general improvements. in the past these have been things like securing better prizing for MoDPDMs, updating some equipment we use, and covering ad hoc stuff like postage costs when we run competitions or set an impulsive, unplanned giveaway on the podcast.
We don’t like to just ask for money though – every Ministry of Dice fundraiser comes with something to acknowledge your help & support and this year is no different. Our first 20 donators (over a value of £10) will receive and exclusive copy of “Where’s Rip Thunderstone?” to say “thank you” for pitching in.
How Do I Donate?
Making a donation to help the Ministry could not be any easier.
All you need to do is head to the bottom of the page, click the “Support the Ministry” button, and fill in the donation form with your details.
The system is managed by Paypal so you can be confident that you are using a safe & secure system to make your donation.
Once the payment is made I’ll get an e-mail notification and add you to the list. If you’re in the first 20 donators of £10 plus you’ll get the “Where’s Rip Thunderstone?” card game winging out to you…

It’s a silly little social deduction game we’ve thrown together. We’re giving one set to our first 20 donators (over a £10 value – need to cover the postage) as a “thank you” for pitching in.
