How are you all doing folks? What about our North American readers – getting excited for Worlds yet?
While we are not getting to join in all the fun (unless someone wants to spot us a couple of grand for flights & accommodation), the Big Boss Man, the Hunka Hunka Burning Love himself Jimmy from Wizkid’s has made sure we’re still in on the action by providing a little teaser card For all to see. (As it’s my birthday n’all that).
So, for your viewing pleasure, here is a sneak peek at one of the cards that will be featuring in the Preview Draft…
For those not in the know – the Preview Draft is a special event taking place at the World’s event in Memphis on Saturday 7th September that will feature prototype versions of upcoming releases. You can find more info on the Whole Worlds weekend events HERE
Keen-Eyes fans may notice the card number on this bad boy. We can confirm that this card prototype comes from the Avengers Infinity Gauntlet set currently (and tentatively) slated for release in February 2020.
It also carries the Mystic Affiliation, that may indicate a boost to the affiliation’s ranks in the upcoming set.
Forcing your opponent to re-roll dice is always a fun mechanic, and has been a staple effect of the game since the early days of AvX Storm. This guys looks like he’s got a lot of cheap & cheerful shenanigans about him for those who like to take a punt on their opponent’s dice rolling up energy and disappearing into the Used Pile and out of your face for a couple of turns.
