Happy New Year Dice Masters fans!

Welcome to the monthly instalment of MoDFiles: your monthly newsletter for all things Dice Masters from the Ministry of Dice. Every month we put together this newsletter to bring you all the updates on The Ministry of Dice activity and Dice Masters community news to stay in the loop.

Not only that, but for extra value we have the “Draw & Roll” strip – a monthly humour comic to bring a little Dice Masters related chuckle to your day. This month’s strip marks the return of our good friend Stu.ART, and its another instant classic from the Dice Master’s community’s premier artiste.

Let’s start with the “headlines & highlights”…

Headlines & Highlights

Dark Phoenix Saga Delay

The big news of the moment is the delay of the Dark Phoenix Saga set, which did not arrive as anticipated on the 2nd December.

Wizkids have been silent on the matter (believe us – we, and many others have asked what’s the what) but no updates have been provided as of date of writing around how long the delay may be.

We know that the latest Heroclix release has also been delayed, so the likelihood is that this is a logistics problem that is affecting Wizkids as a whole.

The Wizkids store has moved the set to the “Releasing in March” section – but we know from past experience that this is pretty meaningless until a specific date gets posted.

All we can do for the minute is wait & see…

Online Tournament – BwXFest

There is an online tournament in the calendar for this month – the “BWX-Fest”. It is being organised by the lads over at the Breath Weapon X YouTube channel and its taking place on Saturday 16th January.

There’s a bit of a twist on the event in terms of format and how prizing is awarded, so head on over to the info post (link below) and make sure you carefully read all the info the lads have provided.

We’ll be there to play and are looking forward to it – hope to see some of you there. 🙂

If you’re looking for a little bit more of the Ministry in your life then look no further than MoDXtra – the place to go for all the MoD’s non-Dice Masters related content.

There’s movies, TV, gaming and comic book content galore in our MoDXtra stuff – the centrepiece of which is the MoDXtra Vodcast, found on the MoDXtra YouTube channel.

Its still early days, and we’re just getting started, but we’d love your help in meeting our goals of 100 YouTube subs and 50 Twitch followers.

Draw & Roll Strip

Stu.ART is back!

This month’s “Draw & Roll” is called “Mayblazer”, and is all about one of the most hotly anticipated cards for 2021 – Aunt May. She was spoiled some time ago now, but was listed as part of the Spider-Man Team Up set that was cancelled, so who knows? Here the article we wrote about the original spoiler: Origin Game Fare Spoilers)

Enjoy!

Let’s all keep our fingers crossed for the “Mayblazer” – god knows we really need her right now!
