We kick off with our usual start and catch up on our recent games, chatting over the teams we’ve been used, how they fared, and how we might improve them. The UK Games Expo event is swift approaching, so we talk for awhile about our team testing for the event.
Next up it’s the “Community Focus”. There’s a few big event & what not going on so we provide a quick run down of upcoming game play opportunities to shore up some attendance.
Then we move on to a classic Ministry of Dice “Pick of the Week”. The official Kryptonite Crisis spoiler schedule has been in full swing, and we’ve revealed a number of new cards recently. We’ve both picked a standout card each to discuss and share why we like it.
Our second featured segment is a brief one in which we ask a question of our listeners: we know that Dark Phoenix Saga is being tested in the competitive meta, but what about the more casual metas? In what ways has the new set release impacted other formats? We call out for our North American friends to input on how the new set is shaping up in fun, restricted formats across stores & kitchen tables.
All this… and Andy’s voice is unusual this episode. He thinks it makes him sound “well hard”…
