This weekend we held the latest MoDPDM at GTG Games & Hobbies in Stoke-on-Trent.
If you’re new around these parts then you may not know that MoDPDM stands for “Ministry of Dice Presents Dice Masters”. Throughout the year we travel to stores around the UK and hold tournament events to give some f2f play opportunities for the players here on our little island.
We like to mix up the formats to give each event a bit of a different team building challenge. For this particular event we created the MoDMGE format: MoD Modern Global Escalation. It’s essentially the Global Escalation concept restricted to the Modern Rotation cards only. We had 12 players in attendance and did 4 rounds of Swiss. We’re not big fans of Top Cuts so placement was going to be decided by Swiss placement only. Our attendees had come to join us from all over the country – and we’d like to thank everyone sooooo much for coming along and rollin’ with us.
